Porcelain / SmileVeneer
SmileVeneers, also known as porcelain veneers, are a new and innovative dental cosmetic option for people who want to improve the natural looking of their smile. The Smile veneers are used to change the appearance of cracked, discolored, worn, yellowed or misshapen teeth. Smile veneers (or porcelain veneers) are a thin shell that is placed over the front of the teeth and then bonded into position. This product offer an incredible amount of versatility and the reason for this versatility is the material that they are made of and the way they are manufactured at our on-site laboratory. The material and the technology employed in the manufacture of the porcelain veneers allow them to be produced in an extremely thin state, which make them very attractive for dental patients.
How is the SmileVeneers procedure?
On the first visit, our dentists will create a precise mold. Then you and the dentist will determine the shade of white that is right for you. After your first visit, the doctor will send the mold off to our On-site laboratory for your custom porcelain veneers to be created. With porcelain veneers, you don’t have to wear temporaries. When the dentist receives your custom porcelain veneers, they are checked for fit and shade. Then during your second visit, your porcelain veneers are painlessly applied without shots or drilling of sensitive tooth structure. And you’re ready to start smiling as you have always dreamed!
Advantages of SmileVeneers

- Anesthetics or numbing shots are not needed.
- The patients won’t need to wear temporary veneers until the smile veneers are created.
- Offer permanent white results that last.
- The porcelain veneers procedure is reversible if no tooth reduction was necessary when they were first done.
- Quick and easy process

Composite White Fillings
Dental composite bonding is a popular choice for fillings because the material can match the shade, translucency and even the texture of your own natural teeth and provides a much better result than old amalgam/silver fillings, which can be unsightly when you smile. Cosmetic dentists often replace old metal fillings with tooth-colored composite. There is much debate in dentistry as to the safety of mercury-containing amalgam fillings, and many dentists are of the opinion that metal fillings must be removed using a safe protocol, which involves isolating the teeth using a rubber dam material.
Can bonding be used for all cavities?
Bonding is not suitable if you have large cavities in your teeth, as the material does not have a strong structure over large areas. Bonding is ideal for small fillings that are not exposed to great forces. With recent advances in dental technology, many dentists are turning to the use of CAD/CAM CEREC technology to produce ceramic fillings (inlays), which have the advantages of both strength and aesthetics and can be fitted in the same visit within an hour. Some practices may have their dental technicians create a ceramic filling.
Dental Whitening – Laser
There are a few teeth whitening procedures available that correct discoloration of the teeth by removing the brown and yellow staining. While each work effectively, there are advantages and disadvantages to each procedure dependent upon your objectives and commitment to the processes. The type of procedures available should be discussed with your cosmetic dentist who will recommend the most appropriate teeth whitening procedure for you.
Laser Bleaching (In-Office)
Using a laser with a whitening gel, this is an in-office bleaching system. The translucent bleaching gel is applied to the teeth and a laser light is used to activate the crystals to absorb the energy from the light and penetrate the teeth enamel to increase the lightening effect on the teeth. The length of time in the cosmetic dentist’s chair depends on the degree of discoloration you have.
Advantage: One visit is usually all it takes for a bright smile.
Disadvantage: The sudden change of color is likely to be noticed by those around you immediately. This is the more expensive of the procedures available, but also the quickest.
